The Equipment
Your solar power system consists of:
- solar (photovoltaic or PV) panels installed on your roof;
- an inverter which converts sunlight from your panels into standard household electricity and feeds power back into the grid;
- mounting rails and all associated wiring and hardware
Once Installed:
- Minimal Maintenance - occasional hosing down of panels may be required in very dusty conditions (e.g. nearby demolition or building site). Usually normal rainfall will take care of this.
- Zero emissions - protect your family and the planet
- Zero noise - silent system
- 100% compliant with all Australian Standards, state & federal legislation, energy saving building codes and power company (Synergy) requirements
- With installation of larger inverter (now or in the future) you can have an expandable and up-gradable system. Get the system you can afford now and expand in the future as finances permit, or, as your family grows.
What type of equipment do Solarkings install?

- SMA inverters are manufactured in Germany and are widely considered to be one of the world’s best solar inverters. They have a proven track record in producing top quality, high efficiency inverters that allow you to get the most out of your system. They come with a 5 year warranty when installed with Suntech panels. There is an optional 10 year warranty available.
- Xantrex are Canadian designed, high performance solar inverters with efficiency boosting transformer-less technology. Like SMA inverters they are weather proof and can be installed indoors or outdoors while still offering the same high efficiency. Xantrex offer a 5 year warranty on all of their inverters; an optional 10 year warranty upgrade is available
